Oil to Gas conversion York Affinity 98% gas furnace with Navien NPE-240A2 install 9/17/21

|

Installation of an oil to gas conversion home in Chelmsford, MA. Here we removed a failed oil-fired warm air furnace and a failed oil-fired tank-type water heater. We ran a new natural gas main through the basement and connected it to the new high-efficient York Affinity 98% efficient gas furnace with a high-capacity Air Bear filter. We also installed the latest Navien 95% efficient NPE-240A2 stainless steel tank-less water heater. We ran a new 1/2” PEX line from the end of the hot water run in the client’s house back to the new Navien tank-less unit. This will recirculate the hot water back to the unit so that our client has almost no wasted water waiting for the hot water to get to his faucets. We also installed an Aqua-Pure 904 series high-capacity whole-house water filtration unit on the incoming main water. This will reduce particulates, dirt, rust, and sediment particles down to 5 microns. It also protects all the plumbing piping and fixtures in the house from scale and corrosion, as well as reduces odors like chlorine and improves taste with its carbon block component. Hey everybody, I just wanted to show you a job that we were doing this week in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Here we’re replacing a client’s oil-fired furnace and old oil-fired water heater. We got the old system removed, and we’re going to put in this new high-efficient York Affinity 98 efficient gas-fired furnace with a high-capacity Air Bear air filtration unit on the side. We’re gonna get it all rewired up. We had to run a new gas main for the house because he had an oil system. The gas is going to be brought up to the house next week for him, so we have all the new gas line run in preparation for the new gas system. We also got our Navien high-efficient tankless water heater installed on the wall and ready to go. There’s the air intake and exhaust. Here is another photo of the gas piping installation. We oversized the gas for the future for him in case he wants to add a gas generator, stove, or anything else. There’s Michael getting set up to thread some of that gas piping, trying to do it with a broken finger.

There, and there’s one of our electricians, Kyle Lavalley, pinch-hitting for Frank, who’s out on COVID lockdown. There’s Kyle getting ready to wire up the furnace and run the new circuit for the Navien. There’s an electric water heater in there too, which our client had installed when his old oil water heater failed. Here we’re running a new line for recirculation back to the Navien now. This will allow the hot water to get to the end of the line much quicker, so there’ll be no standby loss. And there’s our tried-and-true Aqua-Pure 917 whole-house water filter. Another shot of our high-efficient 98 York Affinity furnace, all set up and ready to go. All we need now is the gas company to bring in the gas, and he’ll have endless hot water, great filtered water, and the most efficient York heating furnace available. If you’d like to get one of these systems installed, please go to Debacoplumbing.com, fill out our online request for a quote, and I’ll happily set up a time to come out, meet with you, and go over all the ins and outs and what it would take to install one of these for you. Thank you for taking the time to watch this.
