2/10/2023 today we had a client with a failed 20+ year old Concord gas furnace & AC system. This client in Chelmsford MA needed it replaced. However, the challenge was that the basement had been finished around the equipment and made it impossible to service and repair the unit. We had to cut an access door into the wall so that we could remove the failed equipment. Then install the replacement York 95% efficient gas furnace with new R410A 13 Seer air conditioning outdoor equipment. We always install an easy access Trion Air Bear high capacity filter cabinet to make filter replacements simple for our homeowners. Foreign 25 year old Concord Gas furnace but the basement had been finished after it was initially installed, so there was a wall built around it and then a water heater put in front of it. So what Mike and I and the team Frank the ruler of wires and Sid the metal martial artist are going to do is we're going to take this guy out and there's not enough room to even change the blower cart out of this furnace if we had to because it's only 20 inches away from the wall. So whoever put this in was a real jerk but we're going to put a new system in. We're going to put a high efficient York system in with an Air Bear Trion air bear cartridge cabinet here on the side. I've already got the cabinet together, the coil mounted and we're going to spin the whole system 180 degrees and we've created this opening that our client's going to have a carpenter put a set of bi-fold doors on so that the unit can be properly serviced in the future. I'll show you the progress as we go. All right, so we've got the old furnace out and now the metal martial artist is making up his transitions as we speak.
So this will be nice and then our good friend Dave Finnicketti is going to come over, put a set of double doors there so this will be fully accessible and able to be serviced, nice easy access to clean your filters and all the maintenance.
