Service Exceeded Expectations! I reached out to DiBacco Plumbing after I discovered the compressor for my central air unit would not start. They were one of many plumbing companies I found after performing a Google search. There were two things that were key in my decision to hire DiBacco Plumbing: the first was they were local to Lowell, and the second was the content of a response that Ryan DiBacco gave to a customer that wrote a negative review. In his response, he indicated that he found the review hurtful. According to his response, he had serviced this customer for a few decades, and there were never any issues with the service he provided. Apparently, the work performed in this particular situation was a little more costly than anticipated, and that seems to have been due to the job being more complicated than expected. The fact that Ryan used the word 'hurtful' indicated to me that he cared about his work, reputation, and what his customers thought about him. In other words, I didn’t get the feeling that he was the type of professional that participated in price gouging. Therefore, I hired DiBacco Plumbing to find out and resolve my compressor issue, and they did. They also checked out the unit without my having to ask them, which I was glad they did, because that was going to be the next thing I requested even though I just had the unit installed in October of 2023. The HVAC techs that performed the actual installation weren’t 100%, which I discovered after the fact, so I wasn’t totally surprised there was an issue with the compressor. The evaluation of the unit did reveal some overlooked items, so I asked them to proceed with taking care of them, and I’m glad I did. The unit is now up to code, and a lot of stress has been removed from my shoulders! My heating and cooling system looks like a brand new system, and it’s ready for inspection, this is why I started this review with 'Service Exceeded Expectations!' If you are seeking two Plumbing/HVAC professionals with the following attributes • Putting customer satisfaction first. • Having expertise in their field. • Doing more than expected. • Able to communicate effectively. • Follow exceptional guiding principles. Then you want to hire DiBacco Plumbing. Yes, I would hire them again! In fact, because they are local they will be my go-to team when I have issues with plumbing, heating, and cooling.

Great work at a reasonable price Apr 16, 2026

Mike and Cody arrived promptly for our scheduled appointment and got right to work. My Navien tankless water heater was having flow and temperature issues with the hot water sometimes suddenly stopping for seconds to minutes. They quickly diagnosed the issue (flow sensor and mixing valve) and had the needed replacement parts on their truck. Mike provided me a reasonable quote for the parts and labor, and half an hour later the hot water heater was again fully functional. Great work at a reasonable price and was done quickly. Not much more I could have asked for. Thank you!

I Would Highly Recommend DiBacco! Apr 8, 2026

I needed a new gas boiler. I contacted DiBacco Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for a quote after reading some fantastic online reviews. Ralph came out the same day! I explained that I wanted a second opinion as I had received a quote from my current heating provider. He was very kind, polite, and thorough. He explained why my current unit didn’t last and gave me his opinion as to what he would do differently to extend the life of a new unit. He sent me a quote the same day. It was significantly less than what I was quoted by the other company and Ralph’s quote also included a whole house water filtration system. They completed the install yesterday and I am very happy! Michael and Cody worked very hard and they were here well after 5. They were polite, kind, and patiently answered all of my questions. They made sure all was clean and working properly before they left. I would highly recommend DiBacco! Thank you to all of you!

I had an aging combi boiler that was starting to have issues. I'd spoken to a few service providers and gotten mixed advice on whether to repair or replace my unit, and wildly different diagnoses of the problem(s). I stumbled onto a YouTube video of DiBacco Plumbing repairing my exact model boiler and decided to give them a call. I am so glad I did! Ralph answered the phone immediately, and as I began describing my situation, he identified the issues I was seeing, described them to a T, and gave me a detailed description of the root cause of the problem. He laid out a few different repair and replacement options and gave me a clear list of pros and cons to each. He asked if I could send in photos of my system and was able to give me a (very reasonable) quote for a replacement the same day. Mike and Cody were on-site two business days later and completed the install without issue. They were clean, efficient, and professional. Best of all, these guys know the systems they install inside and out. It's fantastic to find a local family-owned business that is easy to work with, quick, does an excellent job, and charges a fair price. If you're looking for a boiler repair or replacement, look no further!

Amazing Team During Cold Snap Mar 15, 2026

During an intense winter cold snap, our furnace/boiler failed. Ralph, his son, and their team were amazing. They responded to our distress call on a Sunday, created a temporary fix for the existing boiler, quickly developed a reasonably priced permanent replacement, and returned the next week to install a new tankless hot water heater. They were prompt, efficient, worked independently, and cleaned up after themselves. I’m pleased to recommend DiBacco Plumbing and would gladly use them again.
