Hello, this is Ralph from DiBacco Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I just wanted to show you this quick install that we did for a senior client of ours in Chelmsford. He wanted to upgrade this almost 20-year-old unit that we had installed for him, get something that’s more high-efficiency, so we went with the York Affinity 97.5 condensing gas furnace for him. We removed the old unit, as you can see here, took it all outside, and then our master sheet metal technician, Mr. Sid Dirky — here he is right there — prefabricating some of the sheet metal that was going to be needed for him to transition from the existing sheet metal to the new furnace. This high-efficiency condensing furnace will save our client and use 33 percent less gas than the outgoing one that we just removed. We also installed this great Trion Air Bear high-capacity air filter with an easy-access filter door so we can change the filter really easily without having to take the bottom furnace door off. getting the wiring all completed to the unit. There he is with a big grin on his face as we’re testing out the unit when it’s complete, running everything through its checklist. This unit, like I said, will save 33% off our client’s gas bill, so that’s a significant savings. He also gets that 1,250 dollar rebate from GasNetworks just for upgrading the unit. Now, that’s through Mass Save and GasNetworks, so anybody’s entitled to that when you do an upgrade to the unit. And there’s the exhaust and the air intake, because these are sealed-combustion units, so there’s no chance of any carbon monoxide getting into your house.
